Welcome to Fairy Bridge Nursery where learning is magical!

We are located at the Isle of Man Farm in a converted barn with access to a wonderful woodland area and an orchard. We access this through the secret garden door…..which leads us across the Fairy Bridge….then the adventures begin!

A little more about us...

At Fairy Bridge Nursery the doors are open come rain or shine! There is access to the same opportunities and more in the outdoors! We offer free-flow continuous provision throughout the indoor and outdoor environment for most of the day.

Children are naturally drawn to playing outside and there are many benefits which have a positive impact on children’s lives. They are able to connect with the natural world and are able to have first hand experiences of weather, habitats, life cycles and growth.

We want children to enjoy the same magical experiences that we did as children, lots of time outdoors, getting muddy whilst using our imaginations!

I have worked at Fairy Bridge since: September 2003

My biggest passion in childcare: I have always been passionate about supporting children’s emotional needs and building their confidence. I love being imaginative and bringing joy throughout the day.

Hobbies: Watching live music and line dancing.

Julie

Deputy Manager

Qualification: BTEC Level 3 National Certificate, 1996

I have worked at Fairy Bridge since: September 1991

My biggest passion in childcare is: I love to see the progress of children during their time with us, from beginning their journey and then growing into happy and confident learners.

My biggest passion in childcare is: The great outdoors and supporting children to experience all of the seasons and the changes that come with them.

Hobbies: Going on little adventures with my family.

Passion: Helping children to learn through their own interests, following the children’s lead provides so many exciting opportunities and really enhances their learning.

Hobbies: spending time with family, travelling and going on new adventures.

My biggest passion in childcare is: Facilitating imagination, creativity and self-expression through collaborative play. This supports children’s emotional security as they gain confidence in their unique characteristics and abilities.

Hobbies: Creative projects, wellness activities and adventures in nature with my husband and dogs.

My biggest passion in childcare is: I am interested in child development, especially schemas. I love to have fun and play imaginatively on the children level, hoping to bring them joy and happiness.

Hobbies: Spending time with my young family, cycling and walks.
